Free body diagram -- force on a car (quick question)? i need some quick help to a physics problem 1) a car is moving at a constant velocity to the right there is the force of air resistance and the force of the road on the car (as well as gravity and normal force) (behind the car) in the free body diagram. Notes: free body diagrams level 1: the normal force let’s say someone gave me the free body diagram below and asked me to find its net force, mass, and its acceleration. we know this because the car is moving at a constant velocity. this means it has balanced forces acting on it. the two 25 n force are already balanced.. But besides force of friction and the net force caused by acceleration are there any other forces that would act of a car travelling at constant speed on a level road? also would the fact that the car is travelling at constant speed impact my understanding of what forces are being applied?.
