The vw heating system isn't worth a damn. most people's view of the vw heating system: you are cold in the winter; your girlfriend/wife doesn't want to ride in "that" car; you are no longer amused by the ice crystals that form on the inside of the windshield when you breathe on it.. Mu bus has all new window/door seals, and a complete heat system with german heat exchangers. it all works good down to about 30 degrees. below that, it's comfortable in there as long as i don't take my coat/gloves off. i certainly can't say it's anywhere near as warm as a water heated car..
